First Grade Supply List
2011-2012
(1) Tote bag: No backpack
Tote bags can be purchased at Walmart (craft section), JoAnn Fabrics, or Michaels. Size required is 13.5 x 13.5 x 3.5 inch. Please label your child’s name on the bag. You may decorate it,too.
(1) Box of #2 Pencils (prefer Ticonderoga)
(4) Boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons (Walmart)
(2) boxes of 8 Crayola Washable Markers: 1 regular,1 fine line tip
(10) Glue Sticks
(1) Large Pink Eraser
(1) Kleenex Box (Large)
(2) Mead Primary Composition Notebook/Journals
(This Journal has a picture area for a drawing) 9.75 x 7.5 in size
(1) 4 oz. Elmer's Glue All (not washable school glue, blue label)
(3) Three prong plastic folders with pockets inside, any color

(1) Ream of colored Xerox paper(1 pack) Dry erase markers
(1 box) Sandwich size ziploc bags

Donation Wish List
The following is a list of items that we use in our classroom that are greatly appreciated as voluntary donations throughout the school year:
Colored Copy Paper (8.5x11 Astrobrights)
Brown or White Paper Lunch Size Bags
Clorox Disinfecting Wipes
Copies of any of the following books:
Little Bear, Frog and Toad, Junie B. Jones, Froggy
Gift Cards from stores like Target, Walmart, Staples, Lakeshore Learning, or Costco. These allow the teacher to purchase class snacks, or supplies for special science, math, and literacy projects. Receipts for purchases made with such gift cards will be kept and available for donors to view.
Arizona law requires that public schools provide supplies required for academic success. This list represents optional, supplementary items which you may supply, at your discretion. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.
